Collage of my Parisian bedroom/ our apartment’s living room using Matta Clark’s collages as precedent for a visual studies class “the Cut: 6 ways.” Specifically utilizing the idea of “the Seam.” While I am really pleased with the way this came out… I did it on the 25 minute metro ride to school. My roommie Adriana and I were supposed to be at school at 8am to work on these… we got up at 7:45 and left at 9 for the 10 am class. But hey, we were hitting save as we pulled up the second to last stop. Mainly, because we’re awesome. And we had a pretty solid crit, if I do say so.
